A Space is a map circle that adventurers land on throughout the game. There are dozens of different spaces, each with a different effect when landed on.

Space | Appearance | Effect |

Empty Space (generic) | Initiates a Battle with any players in the space. If no other players are present, will trigger an event with an NPC or a battle with a Monster. | |
Snowfield | Same effects as other Empty Spaces, but also Paralyses the player for one turn. | |
Poison Swamp | Same effects as other Empty Spaces, but also Poisons the player. | |
Trap | Same effects as other Empty Spaces, but also inflicts damage or a random Status Ailment on the player. | |
Item Space | Gives the player a random Item. | |
Magic Space | Gives the player a random Field Magic. | |
Money Space | Gives the player a random amount of G. | |
Red Loot Space | May give the player a good Item or piece of Equipment. Very likely to penalize the player instead. | |
White Loot Space | Gives the player an Item or piece of Equipment. | |
Weapon Space | Gives the player a random Weapon. | |
Shield Space | Gives the player a random Shield. | |
Battle Magic Space | Gives the player a random Offensive Magic or Defensive Magic. | |
Locked Box Space | Awards the first player to open this space using a Magic Key a predetermined Item or piece of Equipment. | |
Item Store | Lets the player buy and sell Items and sell Field Magic and Equipment. | |
Magic Store | Lets the player buy and sell Field Magic and sell Items and Equipment. | |
Weapon Store | Lets the player buy Weapons and Shields and sell Items, Field Magic, and Equipment. | |
Town | Lets the player pay to rest and restore their HP. If the player owns the Town, they will receive any taxes and local items the town has collected, be able to invest in the town, and be allowed to rest for free. | |
Temple | Allows the player to cure their Status Ailments. Allows the player to give the King Local Items in anyone's name. Changes the player's respawn point to that temple. | |
Castle | Lets the player pay to rest and restore their HP. If the player owns the Castle, they will receive any taxes and local items the castle has collected, be able to invest in the castle, and be allowed to rest for free. | |
Dokapon Castle | Fully restores the player. Allows the player to change jobs and hairstyles. Allows the player to give the King Local Items. Changes the player's respawn point to Dokapon Castle. | |
Casino | Allows the player to gamble in the Casino. | |
Bank Space | Lets the player invest in one of their Towns or collect any taxes and Local Items from one of their Towns or Castles. | |
Collection Space | Causes the player to collect all taxes from all Towns and Castles they own. | |

Passage Space | Teleports the player to the corresponding Passage Space on either another Floor or another Area. | |
Dark Space | Allows the player to become the Darkling. No effect if the player does not have the Dark Mark. | |
Doom Space | Causes the player to enter a Battle with the Darkling. | |
Warp Space | Allows the player to teleport to any available Temple or Dokapon Castle for a small fee. Does not trigger the target space. | |
Closed Space | Cannot be landed on. | |
